Dr. Kyu Ah Kim is a registered patent agent specializing in the life sciences sector. She has experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO); as well as providing extensive research in this field.

Dr. Kim brings a robust background in chemistry and biochemistry, complemented by over five years of experience in patent law. She has collaborated with both U.S. and international clients to manage and protect global intellectual property assets. Her research contributions include work on HPV vaccines, breast cancer treatments, and novel compounds used to mitigate drug abuse.

Dr. Kim earned her Ph.D. in Chemistry and Biochemistry from George Mason University, graduating summa cum laude. She also holds an M.S. in Chemistry from Yonsei University (summa cum laude) and a B.S. in Chemistry from Sungshin Women's University (magna cum laude).

Dr. Kim spent two (2) years as a visiting fellow at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), conducting postdoctoral research investigating therapeutic potentials of specific inhibitors for inflammatory disease.

Fluent in both English and Korean, Dr. Kim adeptly navigates the complexities of international patent portfolios, ensuring comprehensive protection for clients' innovations.
